Our Long Weekend!

So, I think this pretty much sums up how Dallas takes his time off. VERY SERIOUSLY! I am sure he has needed it more than anyone so we were able to spend some quality time together as a family at McCall. But I will also say that he still doesn't believe in vacations. To him it is taking precious time off. He doesn't have to be a believer.
Alex enjoyed his time away too. Whenever we couldn't find him, we knew he was in some kind of trouble again. Here he had moved out all of the decorations on the nightstand and put himself up as a nice little decoration himself.
    What a happy baby.
Here again, Dallas is enjoying his morning.

Just had to show a picture of the AMAZING TV! Who knew that the TV would come right out of the coffee table. And YES we watched a ton of TV. We never get this luxury at home with the busy boys.

Royce played and played on the bunk beds. He thought they were the most amazing thing on earth. He and his friends kept busy just hiding from the monsters in the beds.
Here he is with his friends Conner and Eva! What fun the three of them had together.
Here is Michelle, Madison and Alison. Three really cute girls! Too bad that I didn't get  a single picture of baby Trevor or his daddy David! I also forgot my camera on the boat. We were able to boat all around the lake with us all packed in letting the kids take turns on the giant tube.

Some more beautiful pics of the place.
Dallas was even able to get some work done, so it didn't feel so much like a vacation. You wouldn't want that.

We thought we would get some cute pics with Alex and us all dressed up in our church clothes.
At the Pancake House the boys found the perfect table for themselves. This place had the biggest food I have ever seen. When they say pancake, they mean it takes up an entire pan to make.

We spent some quality time at the little beach in McCall. I think Dallas and I loved it even more than Royce. Royce played with a little water, while Dallas and I began to damn up the water and then we found a little stream and decided that we couldn't let that be either and had to damn it up. Pretty soon Dallas and I had changed the landscape forever by damning up the stream in one place, and letting the water break over that damn and run into the other damn. We loved it. We just loved to watch the break both of them or go around them. We got quite the excitement out of such a dumb thing. But I will say we were both impressed by the size of resivior we made.

Then after all of that Dallas tried to teach Royce about the damn fish, the damn walls, the damn water, the damn bridge, and the damn leaks.

All in all it was a good week!
